Why Outlier Exists
EMS education faces a structural challenge. Programs operate under tight timelines, heavy content loads, and certification requirements that push toward a single measurable outcome: passing the exam. The result is providers who can select the right answer — and sometimes struggle when a real patient doesn't match the textbook.
Outlier Education was built to complement that foundation. Not to replace what programs teach — but to go deeper. To build the clinical reasoning that turns a certified provider into a confident one. The difference matters when you're standing over a patient.

I'm a working paramedic and certified EMS educator. That means the instruction is grounded in real patient care — not theory pulled from a textbook written a decade ago.
This isn't a side project. Outlier is a deliberate commitment to raising the standard of EMS education — one student at a time.
When you call, you get me. Not a scheduling system, not a staff member. I do this because I'm genuinely passionate about EMS education — about building clinicians who are actually ready. That passion is why I stay accessible, why I stay in the field, and why I care about your career as much as you do.

The Standard Is Patient Care
A student who understands pathophysiology will always outperform a student who memorized the answer.
The registry is a benchmark, not the destination. I use it as a measuring stick — but the real standard is the patient in front of you. That means working through the why behind every assessment finding, every medication, every decision point.
Sessions are adaptive by design. I find where your understanding breaks down and rebuild it from the ground up. No shortcuts. No tricks. Just real learning that holds up when the pressure is on.

There's no fixed curriculum. I assess where you are, identify the gaps, and build every session around what you actually need.
Small Groups Only
Maximum 5 students per session. You get real attention, real feedback, and a pace that works for you — not the middle of a crowd.
